Cassiopeia stAR, an aspiring jockey, is talented but lacks the drive to do much more than go through the motions. She prefers to sit in the cafe across the street from the stables and watch the world go by. That was, however, until Seren entered her life in a blaze of passion and chaos. The mysterious desert man saw her talent and has taken it upon himself to coach her, though they frequently disagree in what the locals consider events more exciting to watch than the races themselves.
