Pearl was a street urchin. She was the unofficial but mostly respected policer of the urchin's code of honor among the kids in her quarter.

• Only harm in defense.
• Aid other urchins as you can.
• Protect those new to the streets, show them the     ropes.
• Keep all promises made to other urchins.
• Never rat another urchin out.

She evaded the life of a thief narrowly, and, with the help of a man she never met, now works as a cross-country courier. She's not lost the skills gained surviving on the streets, nor any of the overarching suspicion, so she's tasked with ferrying sensitive information and packages between wealthy clients. She never knows the specifics, and she prefers it that way.
