Chess

Chess, short for Chestnut, lives in the far north, along the rocky coast of Canada. He's the local handyman around town, renovating and building, carpentering and painting and plumbing. He spends his off days collecting stones and shells along the surf, hopping confidently from boulder to sandbar, salt crystallizing in his hair and on his whiskers, a soft smile on his face and twinkling in his eyes. He loves the quiet solitude of this place. He paints stills in watercolor of his collections, selling them online to crafty moms and boho guys.
